Burnt Pages
Sebastian gathered the pages from the ripped apart journal exposing his past. He tossed them into the flames. "No one will ever know that part of my life, I've seen to it," he whispered, turning away. He knew he'd ended the lies of his past and he was now free to pursue his new identity as George Carr. A calm washed through him. Just then, a gust of wind whipped up the flames, burnt pages, and ashes, carrying pieces and parts up into a whirlwind.
