Once Upon A Time a country was the greatest in the world.
Its people worked hard, shared their earnings, and raised their families. They
were happy and flourished. Then a select few (albeit in places of influence)
began to tell the people they were being taken advantage of, that the more
wealthy were gaining on their backs, and that they deserved equal shares of
others hard work.
The gullible people believed the rhetoric and elected the
Select Few, putting them in power, which only advanced the Select Few’s supremacy
and greed. In time the greatest land of all time became nothing more than a breeding
ground for the lazy, freeloading indigent, living off the backs of their
neighbors. The Select Few become more powerful and wealthy, the working class
grew smaller, while the non-worker continued to wallow in poverty.
