Beach Run
Lola breathes in deep and heads out the
front door. She’s on her way to the beach where she can be alone and jog for
the next forty-five minutes. The kids are still in bed and her husband is
getting ready for work. This is her time to relax, cleanse her mind, and ready
herself for the coming day.
As she crosses the street she notices the
sun is lightening the dark sky. The tide is out, leaving a nice wide path of
damp sand, and the air is clean, cool, and refreshing. She relishes this time,
looking forward to it each morning. The rest of her day will be hectic; getting
her three kids off to school, taking the dog to the vet, and attending the
latest meeting as chairperson on the school board. Not to mention the everyday
chores of cleaning the house, meeting each child as they return home full of
questions and tales of their day, and preparing the meals.
After the kids are in bed she directs her
attention to her husband. She learned a long time ago that everyone needs
nurturing including herself.

I loved this uniquely written, paranormal romance - so rare to find one written from the man's perspective! I downloaded this book to my Kindle but, after reading it, I would SERIOUSLY have paid more than $2.99. Might want to raise the cost to $9.99 or even $15.99 so the price reflects that it's a really great read!
