Unbeknownst to her, I watched as her long strides hurried through the park to the sandpit. She reached a small child, who had fallen and skinned his knee. She kissed the knee tenderly and cradled him in her arms. My child… She had given me a perfect family. I knew she was the one, from the first day I met her. She’d taken my heart, captured it until the end of time.
