Sunglasses
A towhead blonde sits in the back row of the classroom with
her sunglasses on and her nose an inch from the screen of her CCTV. The other
children stare in bewilderment and giggle. The teacher settles the class down
and redirects them to finish the quiz. The blonde works diligently, unaware of
the snide remarks directed her way. After class she unplugs the piece of
equipment and waits for her friend to help her push it out of the classroom into
the bright sunlight. A different, darker pair of sunglasses replace the pair
she wore indoors. The friend helps her set up the CCTV and leaves, so the blonde
can again attend to the class work.
